Built in 1550 and later acquired by Mr Clarence Dillon, Chateau Haut-Brion is the oldest and considered the most elegant of the 1st Classified Growths. Early 1980s, the family acquired Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion, recognized as one of the best Classified Growth of Pessac-Leognan.
This dark ruby/plum-colored wine offers a big, spicy, tobacco leaf, and black fruit-scented nose. It is medium bodied and has lots of structure and tannin, and good depth.
